Creative Workshops

At Voice Collective we hold a number of online Creative Workshops throughout the year. Sometimes it might feel difficult to talk directly about hearing voices and sensory experiences. Being creative can be a way of expressing how you feel about things as well as getting to know more about these experiences.   • March 2022 - Ways into Poetry

  • November 2021 - Meme Making!

    In November 2021 Voice Collective collaborated with Rachel Rowan Olive on a meme making workshop. Young People shared their favourite memes and we even created a few of our own. Rachel designed this amazing piece to summarise some of the key ideas.

  • September 2021 - Zines

    In September 2021, a group of young people who hear voices (aged 16–25) joined artist Liv Wynter and Hearing the Voice, for a series of online workshops where they made zines exploring how hearing voices intersects with other aspects of their identity.

    The work was supported by a prize awarded to Hearing the Voice by the Arts and Humanities Research Council to explore diverse forms of story-telling.
